At the end of each year, Düsseldorf's Christmas Market, one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany, casts a spell on Düsseldorf's city centre and turns it into a unique experience for visitors.
The Christmas magic will be individually staged at seven locations simultaneously. In the city centre, artistically designed theme worlds invite visitors on a trip of exploration. Seasonally decorated huts will for four weeks turn the city into a winter's fairy tale for the whole family. More information at the website:

Opening times: 19 November to 23 December 2015, daily from 11.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (Sundays to Thursdays) and to 9.00 p.m. (Fridays and Saturdays). Closed on Sunday, 22 November (Sunday commemorating the dead)!

Come along tours of the Christmas markets. Let us invite you to a merry stroll through the festively illuminated Old Town in the Advent season.
Savour the fragrances of cinnamon and gingerbread, of mulled wine and hot chestnuts lingering in the narrow lanes, and listen to the stories and poems your well-informed guide tells you.
The round tour ends with a deliciously spiced mulled wine (a cup of steaming hot chocolate for the little ones) and scrumptious Christmas biscuits.

En cuanto a vuelos y hoteles te recomiendo mirarlo ya.
Alsacia es de lo mejor, Nuremberg, Viena, Selva Negra, hay muchas opciones

Si tu idea es estar varios días para ver varios mercadillos de diferentes sitios Frankfurt es una opción. Cerca hay muchos sitios a los k puedes ir en tren con mercadillos muy chulos.Al igual que Múnich. Desde Múnich incluso puedes ir a Salzburgo que es precioso en cualquier época del año. Todo esto te digo porque yo me he recorrido casi todos los mercadillos de esas zonas, pero sin coche, cosa que no puedes hacer por Alsacia, que también tiene mercadillos muy chulos, pero necesitas coche.

Buenas noches!!
Sé que este no será el sitio idónea para esto, pero me gustaría pedir consejo.
Este año queremos ir en el puente de la pura a alguna ciudad europea a disfrutar de la ciudad y ver la decoración navideña, mercadillos, etc. Somos 9 ( 4 adultos y 5 niños de 12, 11, 10, 8 y 6 años). Por economía estamos valorando Londres, Amsterdam, Bruselas, Colonia (la putada es que la vuelta es a las 7am...), Zurich, Luxemburgo y algún que otro destino más... Son destinos que a día de hoy nos saldrían bien de precio, en torno a los 100-130€ p/p.
