In Avignon, everyone is happy. Everything is ready for a summer full of festivals: the Avignon Festival, the best in contemporary creation, and the Off festival, the thousand-and-one faces of live theatre, new creations from the Avignon theatres, the ‘souffle d’Avignon’ which came into being last year in the middle of the pandemic: theatre is back !
Festivals abound. Art exhibitions feature Yan Pei-Ming in the Grande Chapelle at the Palace of the Popes with a monumental installation, and 40 works on display at the Collection Lambert. Not to be missed!
