Luces resplandecientes y aroma a vino caliente especiado: en diciembre
los sueños navideños se hacen realidad
“ He visto lucecitas doradas por doquier, adornando las ramas de los abetos…”, dice la letra de un poema navideño alemán muy popular. Y es cierto, durante el Adviento en todas partes hay un ambiente festivo lleno de brillo y resplandor. Los abetos se visten con guirnaldas de luces, huele a delicioso vino caliente especiado y cada día del mes de diciembre los niños abren llenos de ilusión una puertecita de su calendario de Adviento.
Los mercadillos navideños son un gran atractivo para grandes y pequeños. Están presentes en todas partes, invitando a dar un paseo entre los puestos decorados festivamente y a dejarse llevar por la genuina atmósfera de la Navidad. Si te entra hambre puedes deleitarte con galletas especiadas, manzanas caramelizadas, castañas asadas y Christstollen (bollo navideño de mantequilla y pasas).
Y si buscas un adorno de Navidad o un regalo para tus seres queridos encontrarás tallas de madera de la región de los Montes Metálicos, artísticas bolas de cristal o piezas únicas hechas a mano en la región. Pero también puedes disfrutar de otros placeres invernales aparte de estas aldeas navideñas, por ejemplo, pasear por paisajes nevados, hacer excursiones a la luz de las antorchas o visitar mercadillos de Navidad medievales en los que herreros, tejedores y curtidores muestran su buen hacer artesano.

Sólo una recomendación para los amantes de los mercadillos de Navidad alemanes. Normalmente, cada año, establecemos una base en una ciudad y hacemos algunos desplazamientos a ciudades cercanas, como la mayoría. Esta vez hemos repetido Múnich como base, pero hemos introducido un desplazamiento hasta Ulm (destino incluido en el Bayern Ticket), incluso a la vuelta, hicimos una parada para recordar de nuevo el Mercadillo de Ausburgo. Totalmente recomendable la visita a Ulm. El paseo desde la estación hasta el barrio de los pescadores (Fischerviertel), llegar a la muralla junto al Danubio... Leer más ...

El Mercado de Navidad de Erfurt
