The Juliana Trail welcomes hikers to discover the captivating beauty of Breginjski Kot with three exciting new stages! This picturesque region, renowned for its verdant meadows and the crystal-clear Nadiža River, promises a paradise for nature lovers. Each stage boasts a unique path, showcasing the diverse landscapes of this enchanting area.
Stage 13A: A Journey Alongside the Nadiža River (15.5 km)
Embark on a 15.5-kilometer adventure from Kobarid. Stage 13A traverses the Kobarisko blato wetland, follows the Nadiža River's path, and passes through the village of Borjana. The route then winds along the foothills of Mount Stol before reaching the charming village of Breginj.
Stage 13B: Unveiling History and Charm (14.6 km)
Starting in Breginj, Stage 13B covers 14.6 kilometers. Cross the Nadiža River and venture towards Robidišče, the westernmost village in the region. The path then takes you past the historic Napoleon's Bridge, culminating in the delightful village of Podbela.
Stage 13C: A Refreshing Walk Through Forests (12.2 km)
Stage 13C offers a scenic 12.2-kilometer journey. Immerse yourself in the forested areas bordering the Nadiža River, providing cool havens ideal for escaping the summer heat. The trail concludes in the historic village of Kobarid.
