Düsseldorf celebrates 725th anniversary with civic festival on 7th and 8th September

725 years ago – on 14th August 1288 – the settlement on the Rhine and Düssel rivers was elevated to city status by Count Adolf von Berg. And the climax of the year-long festive programme to mark the city’s jubilee – a two-day civic festival on 7th and 8th September – is coming ever closer. It promises to be an event that is interesting and attractive to locals and visitors alike. A historical market will be recreated in front of the City Hall…more

From 7th September the Kunstsammlung NRW, K20 Grabbeplatz will be presenting the fascinating work of Alexander Calder, one of the US’s most important 20th century artists and the inventor of the mobile. Viewers can see Calder’s early sculptures – surrounded by works by contemporaries such as Mondrian, Miró and Arp – at the Paul-Klee-Halle. Hola me gustaría si me podéis aclarar si el WochenTicket me serviría, estaré una semana entre dusseldorf, Colonia y maastricht, la idea es coger el tren o bus mínimo en 8 ocasiones, me la recomendáis?
No se como van las zonas, gracias

¿Alguien me puede orientar dónde puedo conseguir un free tour en español en la ciudad de Dusseldorf para el viernes 25 de noviembre 2022? Todo lo que encuentro es en español y en inglés. Teníamos reserva con civitatis pero nos lo han cancelado. Mil gracias.

Hola a tod@s! Mañana volamos a Düsseldorf 3 personas. Estaremos del domingo 4 de diciembre hasta el 8. Me he hecho una lista de los sitios imprescindibles de la ciudad y los mercadillos pero tengo muchas dudas con los transportes a Colonia. Lo dicho somos tres personas y queríamos pasar un día entero allí con vuelta a Düsseldorf de nuevo. Qué opción recomendáis más barata?. Me dicen el bhan para zona 5 y otras personas el NRW ticket. Otros hablan de comprar unos billetes en un kiosko librería donde la estación central. Es que los precios me parecen muy dispares. Cuál es lo mejor...  read more...
