Text: El Puente de U Bein es un puente de paso de madera de 1,2 km (el mayor puente de teka del mundo)construido por el Mayor U Bein rescatando las columnas de madera desechadas del viejo palacio durante el traslado a Mandalay.
U Bein’s Bridge is a 1.2 km wooden footbridge (longest teak bridge in the world) built by the mayor U Bein salvaging the unwanted teak columns from the old palace during the move to Mandalay

Text: Shwezigon,una de las pagodas más antiguas de Bagan, se construyó como el más importante santuario de reliquias,comenzada por el Rey Anawrahta y culminada por el Rey Kyanzittha(1084-1113).Allí los Nats o espíritus pre-budistas fueron por primera vez oficialmente aceptados por la monarquía.
Shwezigon,one of the oldest pagodas in Bagan,was built as the most important reliquary shrine,commenced by King Anawrahta and completed by King Kyanzittha (1084-1113).There the 37 pre-Buddhist Nats (the spirits) were first officially endorsed by the monarchy.

Text: El Templo Dhammayangyi,en forma de pirámide,presenta un magnífico trabajo de ladrillo y una intrigante leyenda: fue contruido por un Rey perverso que mató a su padre y hermano y a su esposa, una princesa hindú.El padre de la princesa se vengó y el Rey fue asesinado en el templo.
The pyramidical Dhammayangyi Temple features very fine brickwork and an intriguing history: it was built by a wicked king, who killed his father and brother and executed one of his wives, an Indian princess. The princess's father took revenge and King Narathu was assassinated in this temple.

Text: El Templo Dhammayangyi es una de las mayores y más impresionantes estructuras de Bagan,construida en terrazas por el Rey Narathu(1167-70).El trabajo de ladrillos encajados sin amargarsar,que se aprecia mejor en las terrazas superiores,se considera entre los mejores de Bagan.
Dhammayangyi Temple is the most massive and impressive structure in Bagan,built in terraces by King Narathu (1167-70).The interlocking, mortarless brickwork, best appreciated on the upper terraces,is said to rank as the finest in Bagan.
